MMP Petroleum (M) Sdn Bhd incorporated on 29ᵗʰ January 2012 and has established itself as manager of ships, marine support, provision and equipment supply and others services to offshore oil and gas industries, catering services for offshore and onshore, land transportation and other industrial trading that has been developed significantly nowadays.

MMP Petroleum (M) Sdn Bhd is committed to a safe, healthy and productive workplace for all employees. The company recognizes that alcohol, drug or other substance abuse by employees will impair their ability to perform properly and will have serious adverse effects on the safety, efficiency and productivity of other employees and the company as a whole.

Our policy is to ensure that all employees, contractors and our facilities are free from drug and alcohol abuse. Zero tolerance limit is enforced.

The Company reserves the right at any time to conduct search on any employee (including sub-contractor’s employees or its representatives) and his/her personal belongings while he/she is working onboard vessels and/or within the Company offices premises in enforcing this policy.

Violations to this policy will be subject to disciplinary action by termination of employment and if required referred to the law enforcement officers.

I hereby commit all the company’s resources for the attainment of the Drug and Alcohol policy and its objective.

Stop Work Policy

MMP Petroleum (M) Sdn Bhd is committed to achieving zero harm to people, the environment, and property by maintaining a safe and responsible working environment.

In accordance with our Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Policy, all employees, clients, contractors, and subcontractors have the right to STOP WORK whenever an immediate safety risk or hazardous condition is identified.

Stop Work Authority applies when:

Unsafe Conditions: Hazardous situations, adverse weather conditions, or critical work operations pose immediate risks.
Non-Compliance: Work activities do not follow established safety procedures, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), or Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
Uncontrolled Risks: Immediate corrective action is required to prevent accidents, injuries, or environmental damage.

Steps to Stop Work:

Identify & Warn: Calmly alert individuals exposed to potential hazards.
Stop Operations: Inform the personnel involved that work must stop immediately.
Report: Notify the immediate supervisor and Designated Person Ashore (DPA).
Reassess Risks: Review safety conditions and implement corrective measures before resuming work.

All personnel are empowered to exercise Stop Work Authority. Work shall only resume when identified risks have been properly controlled.
